The "VK" or "country cookin" is a "local" staple and that's ok nothing wrong with that. I just think and have always felt that's where all the positive ravings come from (well to a point.) My .02: Foods ok to good depending on what you order, I never did like the cash only thing but tough !@#$ for me, if I insist on paying with a card I know to go somewhere else. The place is a bit weird and well "quirky" the way the floor sags and most tables have an annoying slant to them. Not totally crazy about the plastic(??) dishes you eat on, but again "whatever!"
Oh... was up doing a few chores this week so I grabbed a quick burger and fries there. I thought it was ok but again it was just a burger.
