I came across something interesting: supposedly, Massachusetts has a rule that requires you to remove your trailer hitch when it's not in use to prevent damage in parking lots. This rule aims to stop trailer hitches from sticking out and causing accidents.

Does anyone know if this is true or have a link to this regulation? I read about it on Reddit, but I'm curious if it's actually enforced.
