Ha! That saw, as I said, is 25yrs or so old. For the most part it has done everything I’ve asked it to do over that period. For an original purchase price of about 150, I’d say it was definitely worth it.

I fully intend to ask the repair guy for an estimate to repair. Once I have that, I can make a determination as to repair or replace. Re: used saw? I’m not interested in taking on someone else’s problems. There is usually a reason for selling/replacing a saw.
