This may be a silly question, but how does Bob Bahre pronounce his name?

We heard Imus at NHIS talking about his visit with Bob and he was pronouncing it bar, as in a place to get an alcoholic drink. Several people we know pronounce his last name bear or bare, as in the animal or bare-naked or b+air.

Thanks for your help with my Cilly question.
