Those of us who suffered long and hard had Breezeline, preceded by Atlantic Broadband, which was preceded by Metrocast.
Prior to Metrocast, it was Lakes Region Cablevision. Funny story about that. They did not come up our road. Dad called back in the mid-80s to see what it would cost to run a line to our house. The guy walked up from Rte 11 to our house with one of those wheeled measurements gadgets and then did the number crunching. Good news, he says, we should be able to get it done for $4,500 - $5,000.
Dad said "thanks for your time".
