Heating with wood is a lot of work, but I get a kick out of cutting windfalls from my "wood-lot". It's no worries about losing electricity and
free heat!
A NH friend who is about 60, cuts wood from his deep lot, drags it downhill behind his truck, then cuts and splits it.
All to feed his TWO wood stoves all winter.
A wood stove doesn't like a chimney with a lot of zigs and zags, as it is heavily reliant on a natural draft. (It could get smoky indoors).

Also, an external pipe with
that exposure is subject to damage from wind-driven debris.
Can you "engineer" a different location, and make room for both stoves?
