I agree with Kona Chick , there's nothing like a good neighbor!
We are also fortunate to have our neighbor live there year-round. He e-mails up periodically with the all clear signal. We used to have an alarm with Winni Security. It also monitored the house temp, if it got below 40F they called us. They were wicked nice too.
