In reference to "hardy islanders": this is certainly not a scientific observation but I know / have known many people on the islands that were active well into their 80's and often 90's. Maybe it's the water, maybe the activity required to get back and forth, who knows for sure. I know it's working for my parents and a number of our neighbors, hope to be as lucky ourselves...
