I thought that might have been the case. My wife bought the Montauk new; it being something that she was comfortable driving. Now that we have the Eastern she found that she is comfortable driving that where she was not comfortable driving the inboard. And the Whaler saw very little use the past 2 years.

Photo is my daughter learning to drive with my wife standing behind her. The Whaler is a great boat for that. It is also very capable of handling rough water.

I'm sure that you will be able to enjoy it for many years.
