I'm not a real frugal guy but I started thinking about these pre marinated steak tips. Most you find now are either injected or vacuumed with the marinade. You can tell how wet they are compared to plain tips. The prices seem to be more per pound and on top of that your paying 8-12 or more $/lb for the marinade. I'm doing my own now.
