My first and only time roller skating was at the Pavillion in the 60's. Went with the family from Peggy's Cove. We went in the blue 54 Chevy wagon that they only used during the summer at their cottage. LC's mom drove. I enjoyed ice skating more than rollers on the wood floor.

I also remember the Dello Lodge. We never went there as it was quite the jumpin place

way back then and my dad, was as you would say, a little too old fashioned

for the place.
