Resurrecting this post to see if there are any updates. With plans, vendors, mergers, and towers changing all the time...

I am looking at a package from T-Mobile that seems to meet many of the needs we have for a package and services. Anyone have recent T-Mobile experience around the lake? Coverage any better or worse than others?

I am limiting my search to GSM vendors as I travel internationally quite a bit. This pretty much limits me to Cingular (AT&T), Nextel, and T-Mobile. I have Cingular/AT&T right now and am becomming increasingly frustrated with the dropped calls, signal holes, and general poor service.
