OK! By the looks of these posts, and the emails I've been receiving, it appears that I'd better start organizing this right away! I've gotten emails with offers of some amazing items to sell/raffle/auction, so it looks like I'll be starting there. I'm going to need some help from somebody who's organized this sort of thing before, with regard to how to handle the accountability, and the transfer of the funds, etc.
Anybody an expert at these sorts of things? HELP!
In the meantime, I'm focusing my energy on prayers for all those suffering. I feel so helpless. At least I know that together we will do all that we can to help. You people are warming my heart.
