Browse through the rentals in the classifieds, many of them offer nightly rates in September or discounted weekly rates that are cheaper than $150 per night.

What part of the lake would you like to be? Would you like the busier Weirs area or somewhere more secluded and peaceful? Do you have children to entertain or a boat to dock? Once you narrow down your search, the forum members may be helpful for input.
September is a beautiful time to come to the lake. (Although anytime is perfect for me!) Good luck in your search, I hope you find just the right spot.
