Starting to see open water above the roofs on the Wolfeboro Streetcam, and at the lower edge of the Wentworth cam. Winnisquam Marine webcam showing 2 large open areas that are getting larger by the minute. So, it has begun.
But, even when the ice breaks up, it us usually at least a week before the large floating bergs finally melt and ice out is declared. So I doubt we'll see it by Friday.
I'm disappointed too. I always guess my sons birthday which has equally long odds....the 8th.
