They are in every coastal port; friends were on a cruise ship out of Baltimore and two of them escorted out the entire distance of Chesapeake Bay to open waters. Personnel wearing protective gear manned the bow & stern guns all the time. Serious! Protection of all Americans.
They also are searching underwater. The boats are very "serious". I am sure will never be loaned, as the crew are highly trained. They likely take aboard NH Marine Patrol, for the local knowledge of the waters, or Secret Service for their duty of protection of presidential candidates.
