Ok, now I get it.. jetski sounds like a Polish name. I'll admit a chuckle.
Of course, you don't see as many Kawasaki brand Jetski (tm) models these days. However, back in the late 80s / early 90s, they were the only game in town with the stand-up models and eventually a double seater. I used to call them "jetskis" all the time, and still do on occasion. Seadoo has become generic equivalent for most younger people, as BRP has been the dominant brand around here for the past decade or so.
I definitely have seen more since the 4-stroke models became more prevalent. I'm sure it's a combination of fuel cost, ease of use, and overall fun factor. However, when I went was on my Seadoo this past Saturday, I was wishing I had taken the boat. It was COLD, especially when the spray was being blown back at me after cresting each wave.
