I wouldn't personally try to use it for that, I think a decent sized wave would rip out the buttons/rivets for it.

Not 100% sure yet. I liked the name "Lorentide" for a while, as my wifes name is Loren and also after the Laurentide ice sheet, which sort of sculpted the regions geography/topography (as far as I understand anyways
) so I thought it was pretty applicable, but we haven't decided yet.
We might want to name it after our dogs or kid on the way, it's still up in the air, but I guess we better decide soon!
