I have a cottage in that area. I haven't seen the sub and don't know for sure who built it or owned it, but I speculate that it originated witha local named Bob Sederquist. He died several years ago and was a certified diver and went on many recovery dives in the lake. He was a plumber by trade and a pretty ingenious guy. He may have built or acquired it as something to fool around in the lake with.
