Yes, another wonderful area in our world... Our Mom was born in Saint Ann's, North River, Cape Breton Island NS. I bought 100 acres on Rooster Hill on the Cabot Trail back in the seventies that is still in the family.

Mom spent about 3 months with me here on Paugus bay one summer, and I took her around Lake Winnipesaukee to all of the craft fairs, Alton was her favorite! We would sit on the overlooks and she told me about how much this Great Lake reminded her of Cape Breton! She Loved it here too!
