Now that aside, folks I hope you all see the real game here.... the government is trying to use this to boost the farming industry.... which E10 has helped, unfortunately it has some negative effects on the rest of the economy as food products are affected as well, with a hike in price. Continuing down the road of ethanol, while it might have wonderful environmental effects, may in the end have horrible effects on the overall economy...

Not to mention the fact that ethanol in gasoline actually reduces fuel economy.

Miles per gallon
The three vehicles averaged only 1.5% lower mileage with E10, 2.2% lower mileage with E20, 5.1% lower mileage with E30, and increased mileage of 1.7% when using the specially denatured E10 blend.
