Question Slippery when wet ?

It can get a little hot when baking in the sun, but so does carpet.
I just hose it off (swimmers in and out of the boat will do the trick) and it is fine.
I've been contemplating doing the swim platform on our boat in this. The re-boarding ladder sits on top of the existing platform and presents a trip hazard for people trying to get by it. Raising the "deck" by adding faux teak seems to be a way to enhance the looks and eliminate the hazard/hassle. How slippery when wet is yours ? And, if I may, how many $$s was it to do your swim platform ?
