Default WOW, what a difference!

Last weekend: Beautiful weather, boat had no problems, very relaxing.......

One week later how everything can change.

Friday little windy but no worries speant 5 hours washing and waxing.

Strung a line over the boat and put up a tarp in case of rain.... Not that is was going to needed, WMUR called for cloudy skies with a chance of a passing thunder shower in the afternoon.

Wasn't that a T.F.! Tourist Forecast.

Speant all day under a tarp in the cold rain with (god bless them) two great friends installing electronics on the boat (gps, compass, meter, etc etc) Well first thing we smell is fuel and a lot of it. I thought I had over filled the tank some how and the fumes had built up under the tarp. After inspecting everything I find gas in the bildge and the gasket on the sending unit on top of the tank leaking. Well didn't our job priorities change.

Anyway 8 hours in the cold rain the GPS is in (thanks again dothemath!!) new meter is in and compass is almost there, need a special bracket from livorsi.

Today 4 hours in the cold raw weather with a howling wind off the bay fixing a gasket that should have taken 20 min but it was positioned that you had to use a 90 degree screw driver and get only 1/4 of a turn every time.

WOW...... what a difference. But good news is no more fuel leak. I flushed the bilge with gallons of simple green and ran a hose for 15 min.... Good thing I have great friends. I know a lot about boating but these guys take the cake! Thanks again!
