I just had a nice online support session with Metrocast, and my operator tried to view the page using her Metrocast connection to no avail. We chatted a bit more and she decided to try to access it on her Apple IPhone, using the AT&T 3G network, and that also failed. Her thought was also that it was a DNS update issue and that eventually an update would occur and the problem would resolve itself. Her final suggestion to me was to locate a public server (just as our Webmaster suggests!)
I'm going to follow Don's instructions, test it out and then report back ...
