There is no bad side here. If the ice comes back while you are out there, oh well... stranded in heaven:) .

Yesterday....

Yesterday, the ice was maybe 20 yards beyond the bandstand. Ice along the shoreline is redeeming but not fast. I think it is unlikely, but you never know...

Better idea tonight, maybe.

Only just barely past the bandstand

There are narrow openings along the shoreline, and from the bridge it is still open only just barely post the bandstand.
