Fishing at docks

I once had the occasion to discover my boats mooring cover with a large rip/hole in it. I can only surmise that a fisherwoman landed her cast on the cover then set the hook whilst trying to retreive...

Boat Insurance

Assuming no claims, how did your ins agent justify those increases? Mine said,"the rates just increased". BS response. I checked around. Other carriers as expensive or worse. I've never made a claim....

Tax-a-boro

A tax increase of $800 to $1,000 every year is excessive any way you look at it.

I'm just climbing back up off the floor after receiving my 2nd half of the year tax bill. The rate increased by nearly a dollar a thousand, most of it being in the Local-School portion. How is the...

Cyano

Never heard of this happening before in Winter Harbor or in Winni for that matter. To anyone's knowledge, has this ever happened before in Winter Harbor?

Cyano

Does anyone know where in Winter Harbor the NHDES located this bloom? I see no evidence of it where I am. Is it usually confined to shoreline areas? Lots of people skiing and tubing in WH.

4-8 inches snow Monday night through Tuesday with nighttime temps well below freezing most of next week. I thought it was supposed to warm up after ice out.

Diving Temperatures

For those of you who have already opened unheated camps, the temps are supposed to go into the teens Sunday evening. Combined with the high winds, that sucks the heat out of a camp in no time. Beware...

Low speed "warning" bb's work well. Bear in mind this suggestion in no way advocates killing, hunting or causing permanent damage in any way to these precious poop machines.
