Down over 30% from past August usage. Oh course...

Down over 30% from past August usage. Oh course that is just AC, but added a forth unit so could be higher. Would go no other way then a mini split. Also would have to have a backup heat source

I will. The original heat source in the areas of the house where the units are is electric with window ac units. Unsure what others keep their home at during the winter months, but we are comfortable...

We did get a rebate with the unit. The efficiency is greater then traditional heat and ac units. Electric bill for AC cut in half this past summer. Like most other systems no power no heat.

Another option may be mini spilts with heat/ac. Just had a four head system installed this past summer. Works great. Just a thought
