How safe is downtown Laconia?

Thinking of moving closer to downtown Laconia. I pulled up the interactive crime map for the area and it looks pretty bad. I also watched a television piece from last year on the homeless problem....

Could someone local in theLakes region report on how much snow you are getting. Thinking of making the trip to snowmobile tomorrow (Thursday). The news reports vary so much.

Now that there is full snow coverage on the lake I am assuming more folks will venture out and explore more areas. At this point in the season with such cold weather the whole lake has to be frozen...

I have not heard anything to the contrary, so I am assuming the main sections of the lakes are frozen and safe it had been super cold for a solid week again?

Is it legal to use styrofoam flotation on swim platforms and floating docks? The styrofoam degrades over time and also is brrowed into by animals causing the degredation of the foam breaking pieces...

Confirmed: Over 12' and under 20" sailboats need a reggistration, and must show a sticker only, no Hull numbers. You are supposed to carry the reggie with you....

I am sure this is old news for most folks, but registration of swim platforms is not required as I was just informed by NH safety Services :D
