Gilford Yacht Club is clear but Smith Cove is still impassable. I drove over to the Varney Point side to see if there was a channel along shore but the ice was right up to the docks.

Big change since 9am, Alton Bay is clear all the way down. The last remnants of slush are pushed up against the eastern shore just up from Downings. That will be gone today.

The Weirs is clear from what I am hearing but there is still ice in Meredith Bay. Haven’t been up that way. Alton is going to be the holdup this season.
