Side Scan Sonar shots

At the time I found this boat wreck and the wreckage nearby I didn't own my towed EdgeTech commercial sonar just the helm-mounted Humminbird 1197 SSS.

Attached are some so-so EdgeTech images...

I've seen those oxen before...

Now of...

Top Water may have it right

Until you dive this thing and see it up close it's hard to appreciate just how rugged and robust it is. It's a beast-odd tenons cut in it, large timbers and complex design oddities-a real mystery....

Re: picture of Weirs Beach diving board & raft

As I looked more closely at this diving board I see a very large black inflatable raft that the whole affair sits on. Looks like dead ringer for the one I found out in Weirs Bay a few years ago. I...

Great stuff thanks for posting.

Q: Picture of what appears to be the backside of the brick mill-is the body of water it sits next to Opechee? Building is on the N/NE shore?

Brian Krebs newsletter/System 7/other stuff

I liked Sys7 but had to move to 8. Classic Shell is a winner for me that's the only reason I can stand Sys8.

That said, this guy Brian Krebs writes a seriously good free newsletter (Krebs On...

This wreck is in 104 feet in Moultonboro, next to at least one other wreck about 20 feet away. Vessel design suggests possible commercial use not recreational-especially with what appears...

Additives to a septic system

I asked Gary that question; as I recall I used the word "enzyme" as that's what I think some people put in their system. He said no not needed.

I took alot of notes and left with lots of great...

Hi All,

In the last 2 weeks I've received a few requests to dive. Had to say no as I'm dealing with a punctured eardrum. It opened up for no apparent reason when surfacing with Senter Cove Guy...
