October sunrise
Early, one October morning in 2011, a visual drama exploded over the rim of my coffee cup. I grabbed the camera...photos are cropped, but not enhanced in any way.

Ice conditions from Minge Cove to Sleepers?
The Echo Shores Web cam appears to be showing a combination of ice and possibly water or slick ice. With no activity on the cam, it's difficult to assess if the ice is safe for foot travel. Anyone...

Thanks for the picture. It is the first one I've seen this year that shows the Minge-to-Sleepers area. Do you know if the snow cover is slushy and if it is safe to snowshoe to the mid-point...
