Stay @ Lochmere

Played there about a month ago for the first time. Fairway grass was too high and just looked like a hilly farm course. A few good views but nothing more. I didn't see alot of investment. Lochmere is...

North End Loons

I believe that pair on the north end of Winnisquam lost their chick on 7/4 to an eagle. The parents were screaming all day and night searching for it. Hopefully I am wrong but we haven't seen the...

North End

The north end of Winnisquam is still pretty iced in. No more bob houses but you can still see snow mobile tracks. Counting on the rain to do some good damage and get to ice out though.

Paperwork When Selling PWC/Trailer

I will be selling our PWC and trailer this spring. For anyone that has done this already in NH, did you have to sign a bill of sale or something similar? I don't think I have an actual title to the...

Add-ons??

I've been looking at Dock Doctors for a new dock and lift next year. Spoke with someone from the company and had a great, informative conversation. It was a treat to talk to someone who was willing...

Aluminum (Non-Raisable) Seasonal Dock Brands

Does anyone have comments, good or bad, on aluminum, sectional docks from the Dock Doctors out of Vermont?

Anchoring a Water Trampoline

Wednesday's storm was the last straw for my 12 year old chain used to attach my cement anchor block to my water trampoline. It had corroded down to wafer thin. Unfortunately, my father, who has since...

No Go Parking at Water St Ramp

I got a ticket last year parking my boat at the ramp while we had breakfast at Water St Cafe. I think it was $70 or so. I was the only boat tied up so plenty of space. F&G typically sits there...

Have Been Happy With These

I've used these for about 6 years and they are still as solid as I bought them. I get a lot of rollers where I am and yes, the jetski does bounce around a bit, but it is secure and I worry more about...

I have what I suspect is the common rubber rubrail held in place with a soft metal edging on both sides. During last weeks TS, it got beat up a bit and the soft metal got some dings in it from...

Stay in the large parts of the lake

I think it needs to be farther away than 200'. Not a lot further but 200 doesn't sound like enough for waves to dissipate enough before they hit land. Factor in shallow depths and the wave may not...

I believe that bridge, metal and foundations, are still there. If its the bridge I'm thinking about, the actual trail diverts near it so you just get a glimpse of it. I'm not sure of the exact...

Winnisquam is down

Winnisquam has been drawn down about 2 feet so they are probably limited what flows out of WinniP into WinniS. I believe they will start refilling WinniS after this weekend.
