Thumbs up Greg Brooks Electric

We used Greg Brooks Electric when we had our entire cabin on Rattlesnake rewired. He and his crew did such a fantastic job we've had them back for additional work.

Thumbs down Didn't Take Long

Well, that didn't take long to become contentious. My question is why was this posted in the Lake Winnipesaukee Forum in the first place? Other than it's an article about New Hampshire, what's it...

What's the deal with all the dead squirrels on the highway? Driving south from the Lake this afternoon we must have seen at least a hundred littering the road, often in clumps of 5 to 7. Never seen...

Hi all;

Looking for advice on the best places to watch World Cup matches around the Lake. Preferably walking distance from a town dock somewhere.

Thanks in advance!

Remain Calm and Ride the Waves

Correction was long overdue. Investors should have been taking some of their gains out periodically and placing them into less risky places since August.

Hand Drill

When we walk out to Rattlesnake, we take my Dewalt cordless drill and an 6" bit. We stop every so often (more often near shore, less often in open ice). If I can't reach water - I'm OK. If we do,...

Walmart Fix

You know, if you went to Walmart and got a large number of their very fine noodles, you could rig a collar for the piling so that it remains vertical...:rolleye2:

Protex Pawz

We bought Protex Pawz at Petco (also available via Amazon) for our Golden Retriever. They work well and he's very tolerant of them. In fact, once he's got them on and steps outside all he wants to...

When we first got our boat there were no slips available down Alton-way so we had to use valet at West Alton Marina.

As mentioned above, it's good to get the boat out of the water when you're...

Exclamation Not Good Enough

I would not trust a metal detector as the sole source of finding and positively identifying property markers. First off, not all markers are metal pins, many are locust stakes. Secondly, and more...

Blue Point Brewery (Patchogue, Long Island, NY) was purchased by Anheuser-Busch InBev back in 2014. I think that they may have learned their lesson when it comes to purchasing a craft brewery. The...
