I-81 Travel Info

I used to travel 81 from Pennsylvania to Western NC when I lived in New England. The road was ok, but the thing I remember most was the trucks!

WeatherNation TV Better

In my opinion, Weather nation (Directv replacement) is better, getting back to the weather as a main show. I also avoid TWC website because the links are slow and take a lot of bandwidth. Besides,...

I did, never felt better than to dump the cable company.

Fee for Kayaks

Picked this up on the WMUR website this morning. Must be a lot of money to be made from a "conservation decal"?
Wonder how that would affect the transient vacationer at the lake. I always bring...

Thanks for Nothing!

Since the low is originating here off the coast of NC, I'll try to make sure there's enough moisture and cold to get the season started right!:D

Rain only here. Will mess up my golf plans.

When I was up for vacation this year, we stopped into one of the antique stores downtown Meredith to scrounge around.
Since both my grandfathers were employed by the Rock Island Line in the 30's,...

Not there Week of July 27 -Aug 3

We paddled out a couple of times to see. Not there.
Was hoping it did not get washed off the island or destroyed during the winter.

I sold my house in MA two years ago at the start of the RE recovery, or at least as I could tell.

Know The Feeling
