Winni is a great fishery

We have many cold water species that are excellent for eating. Rainbow trout in the 2-4lbs range are fairly active this spring.

Meredith bay is currently at ~ 10" of ice. I seen three trucks out on the bay last weekend. Not me, but it is safe to walk or drive a sled on as long as you keep your distance from the dock...

We are in Meredith and looking to build from new foundation up 1,600 sq. ft. home what are realistic expectation on the cost? We have heard numbers anywhere from $125 - $225 sq. ft.??

Quantity was up over the last 5 years although the size was only average with most Salmon caught between 15-18 inches. We did get a few that were closer to 20-21 inches and around 3+Lbs like the one...

Otter Boats work great

I use micro or 13lb. leadcore and regularly clip directly to the leadcore line with no history of failures. Just test the release by tugging on the line to see how much pressure it takes to pull it...
