thats what I was thinking, so as soon as the engine died, I grounded out the coil and cranked the engine. Spark came out perfect. And i did this within 5 seconds after it died, so it should still...

MikeF, thanks for the info. I have my boaters certificate, and all the research I've done says anyone 12 and under have to wear life jackets. Your post says 16. Am I missing something?
