As a year round resident of Alton, I am excited to see the progress being made on the Hannaford market. Prices will be lower that what we are used to, the produce fresher, we'll have a few more...

Alton Bay
The Bay seems clear except for a section down by Sandy Point. A huge change since yesterday.
Any guesses as to when official "ice out" will be called?

The ice is moving at an incredible rate in down Alton Bay. It's absolutely amazing to stand at the window and watch.
One of the joys of living on the lake is watching Mother Nature do her thing!

Speed limit bill
FYI, the speed limit bill is currently being "retained in committee" which means the Resource Committee will study it over the summer.
