We did a clockwise loop to all ports of call Tuesday and counterclockwise Wednesday! Fantastic weather and little wind. There are a few boneheads but easy to steer clear!

Today will be a leisure...

ONT articles

Interesting read.

Technically, I don't need a modem. Yet the Xfifnity installer says I am required to have a cable modem even though there is an ONT in a box at the corner of the street. The...

When I switched to Xfinity the ONT is in a dark green box on the corner of the street. They buried cable wire from the ONT box to a light beige box connected to the house. From that box, a wire ran...

I snitched on a few of my McMansion neighbors. Nothing became of it. Maybe law enforcement should do their job. Better yet, go after the landscapers instead of the landowners. Oh, wait! Some of the...

IH Scout

I had a scout for years until I could no longer pass inspection due to rust. I still say it's the best SUV made! A close second was the Bronco II until that sadly rotted.

I did a lot of...

The Traveling Texas Smoke Shop

Every Father's Day for the past decade or so. The family always does a take-out and brings the meat to the beach for a cookout. A Family favorite and cannot be happier! You call in advance and they...

Public Beaches

Opechee Park in Laconia has two beaches on Opechee, both destroyed by the geese. Beaches are close due to how fecal bacteria counts. Time to kill the geese by killing the eggs!

Radio Chatter

Appears to be 3 occupants in a boat taking in water. All are rescued and OK.

Someone took a murky picture of the boat on FB. Looks like a small BR.

Turbos and premium in boats

Turbos require top-tier gas to prevent carbon buildup. Premium to prevent knocking although modern ECUs retard timing when they notice knocking. You can get away with it if you don't kick in the...

Gunstock road course

It's probably a lot of fun for flatlanders. The course was very tame. I did it after hours on my allroad. For a real adventure, there is a 4X4 park in Ossipee.

The water eventually drains into Winnisquam. The association just had a meeting and testing for water quality is every week. The problem is UNH is swamped and it takes weeks to get the results.

They have the latest inverter A/Cs at competitive prices. They will match the big box stores. When I brought my old unit to the store, they did not charge for disposal.

Check your local dump.

Some towns have good working A/C ready to take away. Hit or miss as to their condition. I had pretty good luck. Just make sure you clean the appliance.
