Italian Farmhouse

Had dinner last night at the Italian Farmhouse in Plymouth. It is one of Alex Ray's Comman Man restaurants. It was quite good. The service was very good and the manger Paul bent over backwards to make sure everyone was satisfied.

Italian Farmhouse in Plymouth, about 2-miles up Rt 3 from Exit 24, always Ciao Bieno and the food is Eccellenza, too. Hey, what's not to like, just bring your appetite.

That place is amazingly good, and you can easily get out of there with a huge meal for less than twenty dollars/person.

The Bread is Great!

My wife and I have eaten there three times.

The first time went very well. We had the Veal Parm. It was good. I judge the quality of veal to that served at the Venetian Restaurant in Weymouth, MA.

The second time started out on the wrong foot before we even ate. The Hostess wanted to seat us in the BAR on those four foot high stools. Looking down the hallway to the Dinning area I could see that there were at least four empty tables. We were the only ones waiting for a table. the rational of the hostess was not seating two people at a table that would hold four. She finally relented and seated use.

My wife had one of the days' specials. I decided to try the Veal Marcella. It was the best Marcella sauce I have ever had. I spooned the last of the Marcella sauce off the plate. That kind of saved the day.

The third time we were seated without incidence. We both decided to have the Veal Marcella. The veal was tender and tasty. As for the Marcella Sauce this time it was tasteless. Franco American Beef Grave would have tasted better.

It's Karen and Barry's in Meredith for ME! :liplick:
