Ice Out Declared!
Ice-Out on Lake Winnipesaukee was officially declared this morning, April 20, 2004 at 5:21 am.

Excellent! It's pretty amazing that a month ago, the lake was still covered with up to 30" thick chunks of ice. The cabin fever is gone; bring on the rest of spring! :D

Does Ice-Out Really Mean Ice-Gone?
I know that Ice-Out means The Mount can visit all its ports but does it mean that all ice is completely melted?
