New Building in Meredith?
 

We just went up to the lake to pick up the boat and to bring it to our dock. We had noticed on previous visits a new building on Rte. 25 across from where Lago's restaurant is. The building is now nearly complete and is an attractive addition to Meredith. Does anyone know what is going in the building? It looks like it might be another hotel.

It's the new corporate headquarters for Meredith Village Savings.

Furniture Store
 

I believe that I recall that prior to the start of construction, a sign was displayed indicating that the new building would be housing a furniture and home interior design business. In fact, it may be the new home of the business that has existed for several years and that is located in the building next door to the new one. I have never traded there and don't know for certain.

I think you'll find T.H.E. Binz is right, its the new accounting and misc. offices for MVSB.

New MVSB Building
 

I work for the architectural firm that designed the building. It will house the administrative offices for MVSB. What a lake view they will have! So jealous

overhead wires coming down
 

Across Rt 25 from the MVSB, the overhead wires have been coming down. I don't know much about it but supposedly all the wires and poles from the big intersection to Pleasant St, maybe 300 yards away, are being relocated underground to freshen up the view.

Underground utility poles........wow!
