Quality cigars sold near Wolfeboro?

Are quality cigars (well-humidified) sold anywhere near Wolfeboro? I know that I could drive to Federal Cigar (in Dover or Portsmouth) or Twins (in Hookset or Londonderry). But I was hoping to pick up a stick every now and then nearer buy. And Laconia isn't "nearby" ;-)

PS If you're a business owner in Wolfeboro, you could do a nice little business adding a well-made, medium-sized humidor, stocked with a small selection of quality cigars!

Alto Bay

The closest place I know to you is the Winnipesaukee Cigar Company in Alton Bay...

I always found their cigars to be a bit too dry. But aren’t the closed/out of business?

Not sure as I haven't been there in a while... While their selection was certainly limited, I never had an issue with the humidification of their cigars...

My favorite cigar store is in Manchester (I know too far) and its called Candia Rd Convenience Store...

Coming from two sticks a day, the short answer is no. Unfortunately, area costs of doing business and state regulations make it unprofitable. Most of my buys are from 2guys smoke shop in Nashua and Salem.

Happy Jacks! Once you get by the crack heads asking for change you might find a stick or two

For the record, I did find two places in Wolfeboro that have nice, humidified humidors. They're standalone, next to the registers, but I tried cigars from both and they were both passable (and saved me a drive to Dover or Laconia!):

1) The Wolfeboro Corner Store @ 148 S. Main St, Wolfeboro, NH 03894

2) B's Express Mart @ 35 Center St, Wolfeboro, NH 03894

Enjoy :-)

Many convenience stores have some type of humidor, though most of them wouldn't fit the quality/well humidified criteria. I've had decent cigars from Winni cigars in Alton but as mentioned, I guess they're closed.
Boy, I do miss going to Castro's, 2 Guys, Twins and O'Shea's in the SNH area. Lot of good places down that way. If you're in that area, check out Smokin Joe's inside Ayotte's State market in Hudson.
Before I gave it up, I was purchasing bulk online from JR cigars and then re-humidifying myself. Worked out okay.

Island Living and Cigars

One thing I noticed about living on an island over the summer, is my cigars stay real fresh!! While I have a humidor on the island I really don't need it as the lake surrounding Welch is the best humidor on the planet!!

Light em if you got em!!

I can totally relate! I've never been a fan of cigars either. The whole vibe and smell just don't do it for me. Seeking out quality cigars can be quite a hassle, especially if you're not near a major city.

Wolfeboro dock company

On Center st has a sign outside that says cigars, walk in humidor. Haven't been in but might be worth checking out.
