Paugus Bay Ice Thickness

Wondering if anyone has a read on the thickness in Paugus today? I bombed from Cactus Jacks to 302 straight across and it seemed a bit sloshy. I was doing about 55 as I got a little scared..

We were on the lake in CT harbor and moultonborough bay today and hit some of those slushy areas too. The storm we had earlier in the week brought a pouring rain in the morning

I have no concern riding over a well frozen lake, but when you starting seeing slush and worse yet, actually throwing slush from your track, it can be a bit frightening.

Never been through the ice myself and I hope to never be,,,

Be safe out there.

It is scary for sure but slush is not usually the result of thin ice,it's the weight of
new snow forcing water up through cracks in the ice.
Been stuck in slush a few times and it's not fun getting out.
