Fog!

The webcams around the lake are all foggy. Here's why! That band of fog is over the lake.

Fog Lift

The fog lifted slowly today. At 11:30 it was out of Wolfeboro Bay but the boards was still covered past Barndoor. At 12:30 the Broads cleared but there was hazy all day and the mountains all around were hazy. The Boards was a mirror and I had lunch between Rattlesnake and Barndoor then cruised shore of Rattlesnake. Herons were soaring over Rattlesnake. Saw several Great Black Back Gulls and a pair of loons along the shore of Rattlesnake. Went over to Pick Point and cruised the shore back to Wolfeboro. Weather hot by the end of the trip.

I am jealous

I wish I had been there. I could only look through the webcams all day. When do you head south, FLBoater.

Fogged In

I tried to get my daily dose of the lake yesterday and clicked on "Snake Eyes". I was going to complain about a dirty lens! :rolleye2: It appears the camera is in a different position, higher up.

fog lifting

Fog lifted about 11:45 today. I have 2 1/2 weeks for the leavees to turn before I leave. Hope they will turn by then. Today I say the beginnings of leave color.

Winter is coming

Snake Eyes gets moved in the winter so it will not get snowed in. When the leaves fall, the mountains will be visible again.

Pretty foggy...

I don't recall hearing The Mount using its horn in the fog before.

This morning, late, I kept hearing one "long blast" every minute or so coming from The Broads direction.

At least I think it was The Mount...(Couldn't see for the fog!)
