Bagels

I discovered a new bagel shop in Gilford, next to Patricks at intersection of routes 11 and 11 B. Name is Winnipesaukee Bay Gulls. The bagels are the real deal with various cream cheese spreads for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. They also have some framed Antique and Classic Boat Show posters for sale!

They have a place in Moultonboro as well. Next to Lee Wah.

been around for years....

...WBG has been in business for years, actually. Their main store is in Moultonboro, (used to be in Ctr Harbor). They opened the satellite Gilford store this past summer. I was in the Moultonboro shop about a month ago and asked the owner if he was going to keep Gilford open for the winter. He said that in just the 7 weeks, (at that time), that Gilford had been open, its sales were now greater than the original Moultonboro shop! Good for them!

We got them recently. They were really good and very fresh. Glad to have this addition to our neighborhood.

That's a prime location! Good for them. Have to try them the next time I'm up. Thanks for the info.

Nice to have another breakfast option for take out instead of the usuals. Looking to give them a try this weekend. As a New Yorker I an very critical of my bagels.

I am just finding out about this now
G-Dam it lol, I hit that liquor store right there all the time, what was wrong with me, I love their bagels but was too far to travel with one eye opened in the morning to Moultonboro/CH

Their menu shows they serve one of my favorites:

"Bagel with Egg and Ham, Bacon or Sausage... 4.09
Add Cheese... 0.25"

Dang, now I'm getting hungry.

What does New York have to do with bagels?

Imagine what NH would do to the bagel/pizza world if it actually were "about the water" :D

NYC is famous for their Jewish delicatessens...best in the world for their sandwiches and bagels...

Your clouded by those crappy Dunkin’ bagels. Lol. All good bagels are boiled then baked.

Your obviously going to the wrong places. Actually find this a little insulting. NY is not exclusive to NYC there are some awesome bagel stores on Long Island.

Went there this morning. People extremely nice bagels were good. Much better than Dunkin’ and different from NY. Best I’ve had around the Lake.

Awesome Combo!

I drive by Aroma Joe's to get to WBG. The combination of Aroma Joe's international coffee and a WBG breakfast sandwich can't be beat!

Why does anyone care for the Dunkin' crap?

Everything. Few places beyond the ny metropolitan area know how to make real bagels. And sadly in NH no one knows how to make a Kaiser roll.

And try to order a snowy nova on a toasted B. Very amusing.

But you guys put tomatoes in your chowda. How are we supposed to trust you? Said the woman who hates seafood.

The opposite of the bagels. There are few places mainly on Long Island I would get chowder or bisque it’s better obviously up here.

Not to hijack the thread, but DD coffee is weak. I prefer Green Mountain Coffee. I drive past Aroma Joe's but really should give them a shot.

Meanwhile, back at the thread
