Wedding caterer?
Hi there!
New to the forum, but not new to the lake :) having a wedding at parents house in Alton Bay and trying to find a great caterer for the event. Looking for something delicious but casual, ideally something like barbeque. Anyone have some fun suggestions? Having trouble finding a good BBQ joint, would love to find someone with a smoker that could be on premises. Thanks for any help! |

I agree with Texas Traveling Smoke Shop. Their BBQ is awesome.

Although they are not a BBQ caterer, we used Kurt's Catering from Gilford a few years ago for our wedding and I could not have been happier: Great food, exceptional people. If you have the time and are a little flexible, I would check them out. By the way-CONGRATULATIONS! A Lake wedding is something to remember!

I second Kurt's!

Kevin is one of the best chefs in the lake region and I believe he still does catering . This summer he was the chef on the mount

I agree with Texas Traveling Smoke Shop.
You ask for BBQ. You got it! Expect to see him in your driveway with the smoker at 5:30 AM. He is that ambitious! |

He did a great job for my DIL and son's wedding in Tuftonboro at the YMCA camp. |
It's not just turkey....
You might also want to investigate Hart's. One of my son's HS teachers was married last summer in Meredith and had Hart's cater the reception. The teacher is Korean and they had Hart's prepare a number of Korean and Asian dishes. The teacher told my son that the Korean and Asian food was "as good as Mama used to make...".
Who knew? If they can handle Korean dishes, they might be able to handle BBQ and casual food.. MM |
