looking for stolen Tohatsu 40hp outboard
 

Sometime between wednesday June 29 7pm and friday July 1 noon, some unknown person or persons stole my 1985 Tohatsu 40hp outboard w/ a remote throttle contol, cables & wiring all attached, from a makeshift wooden support in my driveway where it had been set up for spray painting the original navy blue. The area below the cowl was newly painted navy blue. The cowl cover was unpainted and has the original, sun faded Tohatsu 40 lettering on it. Location: Cattle Landing Rd, Meredith, down the end of Meredith Neck about 1/4 mile beyond the Cattle Landing Parking lot. It had no propeller at the time of the theft. 20" shaft length and weighs aprox 175lbs.

Reward for info leading to arrest & conviction: one hundred dollars.

can't help you locate your motor,, but I suggest you check eBay often over the next several weeks/months to see if it goes on the auction block. also if you know the serial number, you can report it to the dealer and they'll put it in the computer as stolen

So sorry to hear about the theft FLL.Let's hope someone spots the motor and catches those dirtballs.
