Your not wasting any time with this Florida preparation are you? It isn't even summer yet.

You're never too early to plan, and avoid the rush ! :)

Will still be in NH for part fo the winter.

There are a bunch of websites you can sign up for to have offers. I did that to get a quote on getting a truck from Daytona Beach to here. It was a few hundred bucks. Wasn't too bad. But man, some of the people that called me sounded straight out of the movie Idiocracy. I got calls for about two weeks. The deal fell through so I never ended up using any of the services, but the overall price wasn't bad. I just hit up Google and went from there.

CK5 Transportation.... They are out of Sanbornton NH. He hauls cars etc all over the place. He also transports bikes to & from all the big rallys.

Chris is a great guy.... and his wife Kim who runs the business end of things is Awesome!

I agree with Woodsy - CK5. Give Kim a call.

Many Auto Transport Brokers

There are many brokers who may just be one individual with a computer working out of their house. They give you a price and list it for owner operators who will travel around picking up cars. The lower the price you get, the less dependable the service. These independent contractors will always grab the transports that pay the most first. There are a lot of horror stories from people who have used brokers.

It is probably best to deal with the individual company or person who will do the actual move. That way there is some accountability.

Just for the record...

CK5 transported my bike back from Sturgis last year... In their own truck and they are FULLY insured! I think they have 2-3 trucks now. They are def not a "middleman/broker" type operation. I agree with TiltonBB... those can be horror shows!

Sure they will tell you but if you have a vehicle hauled down be sure to take any transponders out of your window or else you'll be racking up the tolls the whole way down.
