I only go before noon or after 3 o'clock so I'm not concerned.

Big Deal...

It will take more than new management for me to ever put my foot in that eating establishment. I thought it was just me but a lot of other folks I know got the same cold shoulder treatment when they recently visited this eating establishment.

So....anyone know if the LB was sold, or did they lease it out ?

Wow.Would you like them to knock the building down and build a new one?

Current management

When I sit at the bar, I am OK. It's when you sit in the dining room, the service is hit or miss.

Did they take over the Bank of New Hampshire Building in the background? They are gonna need to expand if they are going to be able to take care of Summer traffic.....

I agree, I think the bar is what keeps the place going.
Lobster Pound is like T-bones/CJ, not really known for great food but they both have packed bars on any Thursday through Saturday night and when games are on.
My wife and I have been to the Pound during bike week. Foods so, so, but I will say whoever came up with lobster nachos should be shot. I tried it and it was the most disgusting way to ruin lobster that I have ever tried.

I completely agree. The upstairs deck in the summer is great, service in the bar is good to very good, service in the dining room is hit or miss, but more miss lately than hit. That said, there were a few waitresses that were excellent, however, it seemed that there were no assigned tables, so when you sat down, sometimes no one came to take your order.

As for the food, it really depended on who was in the kitchen. Lately, the food has not been so good. That surprised me because going back a few years, it was a nice place to go for lunch or dinner. Something changed. We kept going, but did not go as often as we had been a few years ago. It was a place we could walk home to after a few drinks, so that was one of the reasons we kept going.

I hope, if it is under new management, that there is noticable improvement in the dining room and kitchen. Great location and building. It would be a shame for it to go to waste.

This Picture looks a little "Fishy" to me. We have only been there a couple of times but the food was great.

LongBay 10-30-2012 06:45 PM

That won't be necessary but..

That won't be necessary but every thing bad mentioned in all the posts on this thread I experienced in my last visit. i.e:
- Bad Service
- Bad menu items
- Bad Food

Three Bad's and your out. Until these are fixed, I will take my business elsewhere.

Oh yeah, can someone tell the "manager" to turn on the heat when the hostess decides to put the lone customer into the 60 degree dining room on a cold winter day. I don't know what was worse freezing my ass off or listening to the F bombs fly from one of the customers sitting over at the bar.

Rather harsh reply, but,
Let me take a stab here and guess it's a date. Dec. 3rd

Actually, it's a simple math problem and you are all dummies.

The message is "Under New Management 9".
