I readthat dunkin donuts was opening up a location on route 25 in Center Harbor. Is that confirmed? It sure would be great to be able to avoid the Meredith location. :)

It's already open

The new Dunkin Donuts has been open for a couple of months. It is located in the same plaza as the Mug, just up from Preferred properties.

It's already open in the new plaza just past the center of town on the right. A branch of the Mug (subs and sandwiches) is in the same plaza as well as some other stores. I'm not sure what the DD hours are. This has been discussed in a previous thread.

Duncan Dough-Nots

Duncan Dough-Nots is a good place to avoid. Too many calories, caffeine, high prices, and too strong coffee, imho!

Have yet to try the new Village Perk, a coffee & pastry place in the bright yellow building on Meredith's Main St located between the Town Hall and the Post Office. It would be nice to find a take-out, cup of coffee that can compete with the Wal-Mart; Black & Decker-$8.49-Brew & Go and the Wal-Mart Great Value Brand -French Roast 12oz- for about $1.49/can. Only the cup of free-on-the-house Green Mountain coffee at Heath's in Centre Harbor is cheaper. Anyone know of a better deal?

'Can't speak for the caffeine, but I've been enjoying strong Burger King coffee when I'm on the road.

Seniors (and you don't have to be too Senior, either) get a huge break on the price, and some BK franchises extend the same discount to everything else in the order. Dunkin' Donuts coffee is weak and insipid. I think I paid nearly $3 for my last giant DD cup, and ended up tossing most of it out.

Recently I watched as a BK employee filled their machine. They use Gevalia coffee, which I've always associated with expensive (mail-order) coffee.

that is what is so great about our country - you have choices- as a summer resident of moultonboro I am thrilled that DD has open just down the street

Dunkin Donuts

I have always been a DD fan and go out of my way to find one even though the sevice is T E R R I B L E . Last year though I switched to getting my coffee at Winibagle in Center harbor. The folks there are great and friendly real people. They have the greatest tasting coffee and bagles. I'm glad to see a local operation and they use degradable cups. :)
